When Luke’s question was presented, Jason asked for clarification on the definition of a ‘hole’, while Travis offered his own interpretation. Travis described a hole as having a clear start and finish, with no interruptions or breaks. Jason was full of anger towards Travis for his flawed scientific approach, and he presented two examples to counter Travis’s argument.

Jason found such questions frustrating and referred to them as arbitrary definitions designed to catch people off guard. He believed that despite the connector in the middle if there are distinct openings at each end of the straw, it should be counted as two holes. Travis in a stunned way questions why a straw should be considered as having two holes. “Allow me to talk, I’ll explain. This is my problem with these questions the only reason they exist is for people to come up with arbitrary definitions” -Jason in frustration took the opportunity to explain his viewpoint. Travis Kelce sure seemed to be enjoying how riled up his brother got over such an arbitrary question.

To support his argument, Jason provided an example using a door. He stated that when you walk through a door; you are essentially entering and exiting a hole.

Similarly, if you open one door and then open another, are you essentially living in a “hole”? Travis agreed with this explanation. Jason promptly in anger shouted and said “No, and that’s an entrance and an exit and that’s an entrance and an exit that’s two f***ing holes. I don’t care whatever your[Travis] f***ing scientist buddies come up,” Jason expresses his annoyance with the definitions that Travis and his scientist friends might come up with.

To further illustrate his point, Jason presented another scenario. He suggested imagining oneself surrounded by a big straw, and when looking to the left and right, asks Travis whether it appears as one hole or two holes. Travis humorously responded by exclaiming that he found himself in a hole by simply looking around. “Look to my left to look at my right, oh my God I’m in a hole how did I get in the hole.” -Travis had fun with such questions, to which Jason again respond- “This is preposterous”

Jason concluded the argument by reiterating his frustration with these types of questions, labeling them as preposterous. All in all, Jason argues that distinct openings at each end of a straw should be counted as separate holes, akin to entrances and exits. In contrast, Travis defines a hole as having a clear start and finish, regardless of multiple endpoints.
