There's also a new flower-planting system where players can decorate the island with a variety of different species. From March 2 to April 14, the game is hosting a Springtime Celebration event where players can collect petals around the island and exchange them for Japanese-inspired items. Lastly, there's a new story adventure where players can create a den on Icy Peak and work together with others to restore the Island Spirit.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure's gameplay is very reminiscent of Animal Crossing's, which can explain its popularity. The game was a finalist in Apple App Store Awards 2023 and nominee for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2023. It's also one of GameSpot's best mobile games of 2023 too.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available exclusively on iOS through Apple Arcade.
