Auburn fell one spot to No. 13 in the AP Poll following its second bye.
The Tigers went into the bye week ranked No. 12 after beating Ole Miss 20-14. While they were off, the college football rankings were shaken up as four undefeated teams faced off.
8-0 LSU and Alabama played each other and 8-0 Minnesota and Penn State played. LSU and Minnesota were the victors. LSU maintained its spot at No. 1 and Minnesota moved up four to No. 7.
Alabama fell two to No. 4 while Penn State fell four to No. 9.
Ohio State, Clemson and Baylor remain undefeated. The Buckeyes are now No. 2 while the Clemson Tigers moved up one to No. 3. Despite its win, Baylor moved down one to No. 12.
Auburn is still the fifth-ranked SEC team, behind No. 1 LSU, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Georgia and No. 11 Florida. It is ranked second-highest of the two-loss teams, behind 8-2 Florida and one ahead of 7-2 Michigan.
It has two ranked teams left on its schedule. It will face No. 5 Georgia on Saturday and No. 4 Alabama for the last game of the regular season. Samford is the only unranked team Auburn has left to play.
Auburn also fell one in the Amway Coaches Poll and is ranked No. 13 in both polls.
