The wait is finally over. After months of waiting, Jon Favreau’s highly anticipated series premiered on Disney’s streaming platform. This exclusive show, The Mandalorian, is Star Wars’ first live-action series. According to some fans, it’s completely worth the hype.

The Mandalorian stars Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal and Deadpool’s Gina Carano. It tells the story of life after the Empire but before the rise of the First Order. Although the first “chapter” is available for streaming on Disney Plus, some are wondering when the next episodes will be streamable.

The third episode of ‘The Mandalorian’ comes out on Friday, Nov. 22

Although the first episode premiered on a Tuesday, the second episode of The Mandalorian launched on the streaming platform on Friday, Nov. 15. According to IGN, “The Mandalorian will come out at 9 p.m. PT on Thursdays/12 a.m. ET on Fridays.” Reportedly, there are eight episodes total in this Star Wars-related series.

“Because it wouldn’t make much sense to release an episode on the same day Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters (Friday, Dec. 20), The Mandalorian’s seventh episode will instead arrive on Wednesday, December 18,” IGN reports.

This may seem like a long time coming, but don’t worry — Disney is still testing out their release schedule for movies and television shows. Although it was initially reported that Marvel’s blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame, would be available for streaming starting December 2019, the company moved up the streaming date of this film. The movie has been available on Disney Plus since the platform’s launch date.

Fans are excited for the upcoming episodes of ‘The Mandalorian’

Although The Mandalorian recently shared their first episode, fans are already excited for another chapter in the story. Some took to social media, spread their love for this exclusive Star Wars television series. Others shared their excitement for upcoming episodes in Disney Plus’ show.

“Pilot of #TheMandalorian is about as close to Dune as I’ve ever seen from anything Star Wars-related, and I mean that as a total compliment,” said one Twitter user. “Music is great, I dig the stoicism, and that ending. Lots of questions left to answer, but the hooks are in deep.”
