apple 16 inch macbook pro laptop computer announcement

According to a new report from Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, tech giant Apple will soon be announcing a new 16-inch model for its MacBook Pro models.

The new edition is said to replace the classic 15-inch line-up and will boast an array of upgrades. Taking note of many users’ dissatisfaction with the current-gen keyboards, Apple has taken a departure from the butterfly mechanism and redesigned it to be “more reliable.” The larger screen will provide a higher resolution, and its speakers will also be getting an upgrade. Unfortunately, the 13-inch model will remain the same.

Cost-wise, since the new 16-inch model will be replacing the 15-inch roster, prices will be within the same margin, starting at around $2,399 USD, according to Gurman. It’s said to go on sale as soon as this week, so fans of the company should definitely keep an eye out for any official announcements coming soon.
