We go into this week with a statement we never thought possible: Minnesota is more likely to go to the College Football Playoff than Alabama. That sums up Week 11 of the Power Rankings.

The Game of the Century was the bummer of the year for Alabama, which slipped from third to seventh after losing to LSU. It and Kansas State, which lost to Texas, had the largest drops of the week.

Meanwhile, Minnesota made the biggest gain of the week, going from 13th to fourth. Yes, the Golden Gophers are in the playoff this week in my little corner of the rankings world. Stifle your outrage. There are only two other teams in the country that are undefeated and have beaten a top-10 team. Why not the Gophers at No. 4?

With just a few weeks left in the regular season ahead of the conference championship games and Selection Sunday, let's take a look at how the Power Rankings break down entering Week 12.

Indiana was just on the outside looking in this week, while Wake Forest, Iowa and San Diego State fell from the top 25.

Biggest Movers

9 Minnesota

5 Kansas State
