The tenth Sunday of the 2019 NFL season is upon us. Here’s a Philadelphia Eagles focused rooting guide for all of the Week 10 games. No Eagles game today, obviously, since the Birds are on their bye.

NFC EAST

NEW YORK GIANTS at NEW YORK JETS: The 2-7 Giants aren’t sniffing the playoffs. Wins only serve to ruin their positioning in the 2020 NFL Draft. Then again, it would be nice to see Sam Darnold shred the team that passed up on him to take a running back at No. 2 overall last year. Consider that angle a consolation prize to a Giants loss. Root against the Jets.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS at DALLAS COWBOYS: A Dallas loss would have the Cowboys and Eagles both at 5-4 with seven games left to play. It’s really hard to count on Kirk Cousins coming up in a big spot but it’d sure be nice if he could help the Eagles here. Root for the Vikings.

NFC TEAMS

DETROIT LIONS at CHICAGO BEARS: The team with Matthew Stafford is a bigger threat to the Eagles than the team with Mitchell Trubisky. Root for the Bears.

ARIZONA CARDINALS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: The 3-5-1 Cards are closer to making an unlikely playoff run than the 2-6 Bucs are. Root for the Buccaneers.

ATLANTA FALCONS at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: The Eagles know that the Superdome is one of the toughest places to play. They won’t want to see the Saints get a top two seed. The consolation to a likely Saints win here is that the 2020 sixth-round pick the Falcons owe to the Eagles projects to be a high one. Root for the Falcons.

LOS ANGELES RAMS at PITTSBURGH STEELERS: Easy call to root for the AFC team over the NFC team potentially standing in the way of an Eagles wild card berth. Root for the Steelers.

CAROLINA PANTHERS at GREEN BAY PACKERS: Ideally the Packers will collapse and Aaron Rodgers will miss the playoffs entirely. Can’t really count on that, though, so if the assumption is that Green Bay is making the postseason anyway, might as well root for the Packers to get a top two seed if it means the Saints won’t be getting one. A Panthers loss also aids the Eagles’ chances of landing a wild card spot. Root for the Packers.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: A 49ers win is a preventative measure when it comes to the Saints getting a top two seed. A Seahawks loss also hurts Seattle’s wild card chances and potentially allows the Eagles to catch up in that regard. Root for the 49ers.

WHAT’S LEFT

BALTIMORE RAVENS at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Ravens are fun and easy to root for. And the Bengals losing is preferable so they can have a higher pick than Washington. Root for the Ravens.

BUFFALO BILLS at CLEVELAND BROWNS: The Eagles’ strength of victory tie-breaker only stands to gain from a Bills win. Root for the Bills.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS at TENNESSEE TITANS: Here’s to rooting on Andy Reid. Root for the Chiefs.

MIAMI DOLPHINS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: Don’t want the Dolphins to finish below Washington in the 2020 NFL Draft order. Plus, here’s to rooting on Frank Reich. Root for the Colts.
