And Charlize Theron joked 'I've only begun' as she was honored with the Hollywood Career Achievement Award Sunday.
Theron was handed the award by her Bombshell co-star and friend Nicole Kidman, 52, at the Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

In her acceptance speech, Theron credited the 'brave women' in the Fox News organization who risked their careers 'to do the right thing,' according to USA Today.
She also acknowledged her daughters, Jackson, seven, and August, three, saying they were 'at home wondering why I'm not watching Mamma Mia with them for the 30th time.'
The Atomic Blonde star spoke with ET about receiving the vaunted honors at only 44, and pledged she's 'not going anywhere' away from Hollywood amid the recognition of her work to date.
'I mean, I thought of it as just like, my career up to now,' she said. 'No, I'm not going anywhere, sorry guys! I've only begun.'

The South African-born stunner joked, 'Listen, I'm always like, "Somebody made a mistake!" So, let's not talk about it too much before somebody's like, "Wait a second, she should not be getting this career achievement award."'
Theron told ET her role in Monster was a game-changer in her career, as it opened the doors to more substantive roles down the line after a string of playing 'a lot of wives and a lot of girlfriends' early on.
She said, 'I think Monster was definitely a moment in my career where I realized the opportunity that I was given was a chance to show that I was capable of more and it did change my career.
'After that, I didn't have to fight so hard for those interesting parts anymore, and more opportunities came my way to get outside of my comfort zone and do things that were maybe not expected for me.'

The actresses, who are both Oscar winners - Kidman in 2003 for The Hours and Theron in 2004 for Monster - were in style at the annual event.
Kidman donned a long-sleeved white silk dress with floral embedding, mixing in red with her dangling earrings and pointy heels. The Sydney, Australia native had her reddish-blonde locks pulled into a ponytail and wore red lipstick.
Theron wore a sheer black dress with silver embellishments over black wide leg pants and platform high heels. She wore earrings and had her neat, dark blonde 'do parted to the side.

Al Pacino, in accepting his Hollywood Supporting Actor Award honors from Francis Ford Coppola for The Irishman, opened up about how the film is his first collaboration with director Martin Scorsese, and how Robert De Niro made it all come together.
'Bob said, "How about Al as Hoffa," and Marty said, "Yeah, OK. Is he OK?"' Pacino said, USA Today reported. 'And Bob said, "He's a sweetheart."'
The screen legend added, 'So I didn't have to audition - they gave me the part. I like being called a sweetheart. So Bob got me the role in The Irishman.'
Others honored at the Southern California event included Renée Zellweger taking home the Hollywood Actress Award for Judy, Olivia Wilde winning Breakthrough Director honors for Booksmart, Laura Dern winning the Supporting Actress Award for Marriage Story, Cynthia Erivo claiming Breakout Actress Award for Harriet, and Taron Egerton named the Breakout Actor playing Elton John in Rocketman.

Shia LaBeouf collected the Breakthrough Screenwriter for Honey Boy, acknowledging his past struggles in his acceptance speech - including his July 2017 public drunkenness arrest in Georgia.
'I want to thank the police officer who arrested me in Georgia for changing my life,' he said, according to USA Today, also thanking his parents for giving him life and his therapist and sponsor for saving his life.
