I love FOX college football analyst Joel Klatt. While some analysts and media members say things just to get everyone’s blood boiling with stale takes, Klatt generally has some passion and rationale behind his comments.

He appeared on the Colin Cowherd show this week and the topic of Ohio State defensive end Chase Young came up — specifically if he really had a shot at getting in the Heisman race. Cowherd expected to be able to put Klatt in his place with the ridiculing the notion that Young even has a shot, but instead, Klatt turned the table on him with a little education on why Young for Heisman is a real thing.

You can listen to the short segment exchange yourself thanks to the video that was shared by the Cowherd Show on Twitter. In short though, Klatt believes Young is dominant enough, is on the right team, and you can see him having a long career in the NFL.

Of course Cowherd went to the tired argument of Young doing this all against slow Big Ten lineman. We would like to take this moment to remind Colin that Nick Bosa and Joey Bosa did their work against the same type of players that are now in the NFL. How is that turning out?

Also, I’ll take my chances with the NFL scouts drooling over what they see more than a radio show host who can’t even remember that LSU quarterback Joe Burrow originally went to Ohio State.
