The NFL's trade deadline passed on Tuesday with more fanfare than actual action.

For all of the buzz in the lead-up to the cutoff, only one deal actually materialized, as the Los Angeles Rams sent cornerback Aqib Talib to the Miami Dolphins. The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens created a stir by engaging the New York Jets on talks to acquire Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams, according to multiple reports, but no agreement materialized. Meanwhile, the Washington Redskins held firm on offensive tackle Trent Williams, while the Denver Broncos did the same on cornerback Chris Harris Jr.
