The Silent Hill 2 remake's October 8 release date is almost here, and developer Bloober Team has released a list of global launch times to ensure players can get their hands on the spine-chilling survival horror classic as soon as it's available.

US players located in the Pacific time zone will gain access to the game--which is already earning high praise--starting at 9 PM PT on October 7, with those located in the Eastern time zone gaining access at 12 AM ET on October 8. Players who ordered the deluxe edition of the game will be able to access the game two days early on October 6, but Bloober Team hasn't shared exactly what time the game will become available for deluxe edition owners.

Curiously, Bloober Team listed the game's launch times by city rather than by country, and the announcement does not include launch dates for cities located in Canada, India, Africa, Central America, most of Eastern Europe, or the majority of South America. Still, it's possible more launch times will be announced in the next few days.

Anyone hoping to play the game on Xbox will have to wait quite a while, however, as Bloober Team has confirmed that Silent Hill 2 will remain exclusive to PlayStation consoles for at least a year post-launch.
