To celebrate today's early launch of NBA 2K25, PlayStation has released a new PS5 Slim Digital bundle for $499. The bundle saves you $20 compared to the cost of buying the console and game separately. It's not available to order at all major retailers yet, but Walmart and Target have the bundle in stock. Best Buy has a page for the bundle, but it's not available to buy yet. Depending on your location, you can order now and pick up at your local store today. If it's unavailable near you, both retailers are offering free shipping arriving September 5-6 (as of September 4).

This is a standard bundle, offering all the accessories and cables needed to start playing PS5. Aside from a PS5 Digital Edition console and a digital copy of NBA 2K25, you'll get the following content:

  • DualSense wireless controller
  • Two Horizontal stand feet
  • HDMI cable
  • AC power cord
  • USB cable
  • Astro’s Playroom

If you don't need a PS5, be sure to check out our NBA 2K25 buying guide, as there are four editions of the game up for grabs. These are eligible for bonuses like the Trendsetter Green Animation, 89 OVR Jayson Tatum Player Card, 3x MyTEAM Promo Packs, and more. This content is available to anyone who plays before October 17--so you should be able to snag them with the above bundle.

NBA 2K25's big changes include an upgrade to Play Now Online--which is seeing the return of Leagues. This is a five-level ranking system that places you in brackets based on your performance. You'll start at Bronze, then slowly work your way through Silver, Gold, Platinum, and GOAT as you challenge other players and get more wins under your belt.
