Affection

Deadline reports Jessica Rothe and Joseph Cross will star in Affection, a” dark sci-fi horror film” from writer/director BT Meza. The story is said to follow Ellie (Rothe), “who is stuck in a cyclical nightmare. Grappling with a condition that erratically resets her memory, she’s left unable to remember her husband (Cross) or daughter (Julianna Layne). Each reset leaves her disoriented and haunted with vivid memories of a life she’s never lived.”

Devilina

Deadline also reports Paramount has hired Rebecca Webb to write a script for a movie based on the Atlas Comics character, Devilina. The original comic followed a “sheltered young woman who journeys to New York in search of her past, only to discover she is the sister of Satan, and her twin brother has been manipulating her while a detective investigates a series of murders linked to her.”
