A new Super Mario Lego set is on the way, this time inspired by one of the heroic plumber's best games, Super Mario World on SNES. The set features Mario riding his trusty companion Yoshi in a recreation of the duo's 2D pixel art sprites from the game. Announced at Comic-Con 2024, the Lego Super Mario World: Mario And Yoshi set launches October 1, and preorders are available now.

Lego Super Mario World: Mario And Yoshi model is a 1,215-piece set that features multiple moving elements that recreate animations from Super Mario World. There's a dial behind Yoshi's head that extends the dinosaur companion's tongue, and a crank on the base turns his legs. The set is aimed at adults and experienced builders since it is more complex than your average Lego kit, so kids will likely need some help putting it together.
The Lego Super Mario World: Mario And Yoshi set is available for preorder at Target and the Lego Store. We'll update this story if more retailers start taking preorders.

Both kits are sold out everywhere else, so pick them up while you can.
The Lego Super Mario World: Mario And Yoshi isn't the only new official Nintendo Lego kit launching this year. Meanwhile, Zelda fans can also preorder the first-ever Legend of Zelda Lego kit, the 2-in-1 Great Deku Tree scene, for $300 at the Lego store.
