Manchester United have revealed their new away shirt for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

A navy blue base features a series of circular patterns in a different shade of blue throughout and has been drawn up as a throwback to the sort of designs United used to wear during the 1990s.

As well as the nod to the club's history, the design also pays tribute to the city of Manchester. Three lighter shades of blue run across the collar as a reference to the three rivers in the city - the Irk, Medlock and Irwell.

The adidas detailing stands out in silver, as does the famous Red Devil emblem on the back of the neck.

The shirt also features the Snapdragon logo as the company begins its first year as the primary shirt sponsor of United. The US technology firm take the place of TeamViewer.

Sam Handy, SVP of product and design at adidas, said: "We have the honour every season to resonate with fans via special nods to their club and culture – and for the Manchester United away kit this season, it's the city itself.

"Through features such as the collar and a nostalgic design that speaks to beloved design codes, we champion elements of the city and club's history, finished with premium modern details to stand out on the streets, in the stands and on the pitch."

Fans can buy the new away shirt right now at the official club store, select adidas retailers or the adidas website.
