Sonic X Shadow Generations will hit PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 25. The new game features a remastered edition of Sonic Generations, which was originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2011, plus an all-new story campaign featuring Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic X Shadow Generations preorders are available now, and grabbing the game early get you a special bonuses, including three-day early access if you grab the digital deluxe edition. PC players can save on both the standard and digital deluxe editions (Steam keys) at GameSpot sister site Fanatical.

Sonic X Shadow Generations preorder bonuses
Preordering Sonic X Shadow Generations gets you the Sonic Adventure Legacy skin, which is based on Sonic's low-poly 3D look from Sonic Adventure on Sega Dreamcast. The old-school cosmetic item is included with all physical and digital edition preorders on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Physical edition preorders also get the Gerald Robotnik's Journal collectible book, which includes in-universe details on the creation of Shadow the Hedgehog from Doctor Robotnik's (Eggman's) perspective. It's included with PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X preorders.
Finally, if you opt for the digital deluxe version, you can get three-day early access to the game starting October 22.
Preorder Sonic X Shadow Generations
$50
Sonic X Shadow Generations standard edition will be available in physical and digital editions. It includes the full base game on your platform of choice, plus the Sonic Adventure Legacy skin and Gerald Robotnik's Journal preorder bonuses (the book is only included with physical edition preorders).
You can preorder a physical copy on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox for $50 at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop. Though the Xbox disc will grant access to both the Series X and Xbox One versions of the game, the physical edition for PlayStation users will only be available for PS5.
The PC version is available for $43.49 at Fanatical.
On top of the standard edition, there's also a $60 digital deluxe edition that includes the full game, the Sonic Legacy Skin preorder bonus, and a collection of extra items including:
