A handful of official Xbox wireless controllers are on sale for great prices right now. Most notably, a few special-edition models are discounted, including the eye-catching Dream Vapor variant, which launched earlier this year. A first-party Xbox controller is naturally the go-to option for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, but it's also a fantastic PC, Mac, and mobile gaming controller.

The controllers listed above have been discounted by up to $21, and some of the highlights include the gorgeous blue-purple gradient of the Stellar Shift controller, the mesmerizing Dream Vapor with its smoky swirls, and the very crimson Pulse Red controller. Like the regular Carbon Black controller--which is also on sale--these are durable and well-designed devices for Xbox consoles, PC, and mobile devices. Ergonomically, they're very comfortable for long stretches of gaming and the inputs are durable enough to last for years. The Share button, which is new to this generation of Xbox controllers, lets you quickly capture some gameplay.
The other advantage to an Xbox controller is that you can choose to use either regular AA batteries or a rechargeable battery pack. Xbox controllers typically come with a pair of AA batteries so that you can start gaming right away, but there are first and third-party battery pack options as well. The controllers are economical when it comes to power drain. You can typically get upwards of 40 hours with a good pair of batteries, and it's possible to get similar longevity from rechargeable packs, too.
If you use your Xbox controllers every day, it's worth considering a dedicated charging stand such as this dock that supports two controllers and is on sale for less than $32.
For more gaming deals, the second-generation Backbone One just launched last week at a discounted price. The Backbone is a stellar mobile gaming controller that turns your phone into a Switch-like handheld. Meanwhile, nostalgic Xbox fans can grab the Mega Xbox 360 building set for a huge discount at Target. On the games side of things, you can pick up Persona 3 Reload and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth for $40 each.
