Palia, the free-to-play cozy MMO that combines bits of Stardew Valley and recent Zelda games, is now available on Steam. The game was previously available on Switch and PC via the developer's launcher. Those are no longer the only ways to play, as the game is now available on Valve's storefront.
Alongside the new platform update, Palia also received a sizeable patch that brings new content to the game, such as a temple to explore for new rewards, the ability to cultivate flowers and trees, and new marriage-themed attire for your in-game nuptials. You can also now customize your controller bindings to better suit your preferences. New cosmetic sets in the form of the Emberborn and Spring Fever sets can spruce up your abode, too.
The team at Singularity 6 also released a roadmap for players looking to see how the game will change and grow over the months ahead. You can check that out in the image below or keep reading for the details in plain text.
In the months ahead, players can expect the following additions to Palia:
- Building blocks - Get creative with building blocks and structural decor.
- Pathways and walkways - Add flair to your home with wooden and stone path options
- New housing blueprint - Level up your home with the latest housing layout and add-ons
- Friendship level 5
- Map grid
- Ammo pouch
All players who log into Palia within 30 days of its launch will be eligible to receive a free in-game Frogbert plushie, which has grown five times its original size thanks to a wishlisting campaign.
