Bethesda has released a new update for Fallout 76 that invites players back to Atlantic City to fight formidable foes in post-nuclear New Jersey.

The update, which also kicks off Season 16: Duel with the Devil, has players heading back to Atlantic City to help Mayor Tim fight against "Overgrown" enemies. There is a new questline that involves unspooling a "deadly plot" across multiple missions. There are also new side quests with new characters to meet.

Now Playing: Fallout 76: Atlantic City: America's Playground - Official Launch Trailer

The Overgrown are plant-like beings who have overrun Atlantic City, and players are called upon to blast them to bits to clean the place up. As for the questline back in Appalachia, players are tasked with opening a new nightclub for the Russo Family.

"The Russos hope to start a quieter--though still comfortable--life away from the rat race of Atlantic City. Sadly, that won't be in the cards: As a deadly plot unfolds, players must uncover the skeletons (or perhaps devils) lurking in the Russo family's closet in this new quest," reads a line from Bethesda's announcement.

There are some changes to Fallout 76's Seasons system in this update, too. Going forward, with the start of every new seasons, players will be able to see all the rewards they can unlock during a given season. Players will earn 25 tickets each time they rank up, but Bethesda warned players that they should use all tickets before the end of a season because they do not carry forward.

Also new with Season 16 is that people who do not subscribe to Fallout 1st can buy the Fallout 1st Season Pass with Atoms in the game.

In other Fallout news, the Prime Video Fallout TV series premieres on April 11. Todd Howard, who is an executive producer on the series, advised the showrunners to avoid certain topics that could appear in Fallout 5.
