Soon, robotic vacuum cleaners will work with Apple Home, including a CES 2024 debut in Ecovacs' new Deebot X2 Combo.
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo is an upgraded version of the company's Deebot X2 Omni that adds both Matter support, and a mounted handheld stick vac.
The robotic hands-free vacuum cleaner has a square design that has more coverage that many competitors. It has a built-in mop to clean your floors and when it returns to the dock, the dustbin is emptied and the mops are washed with hot water and dried with hot air.
It has an onboard Yiko assistant for voice commands but will also work with Matter pending certification. Once Matter certified, it will work with any native smart home platform, including Apple Home.
The handheld stick vac will charge inside of the docking station and is bundled with multiple attachments such as a crevice tool, upholstery tool, and a multi-surface tool.
"Our dedication to reshaping the smart home cleaning experience extends far beyond technological innovation," emphasized Vice Chairman of ECOVACS Group and CEO of ECOVACS ROBOTICS, David Qian. "It transcends the mundane realm of manual chores, aiming to emancipate homeowners, fostering a sense of relaxation, and affording them the luxury of time to engage in what they love most. Whether it's our floor and window cleaners, air purifiers, or lawnmowers, our evolving range of robotic solutions consistently strives to unburden homeowners, granting them precious time back for family, hobbies, and the myriad pleasures life has to offer."
Alongside its new robotic vacuum cleaner, Ecovacs has its new Winbot W2 Omni window cleaning robot. It has a smart navigation system, and edge-to-edge cleaning for a variety of window types.
Finally, it has released its first robotic lawn mower. The Goat GX-600 uses its proprietary navigation technology to efficiently learn your yard and identify different surfaces quickly.
The Ecovacs Goat GX-600 robotic lawn mower will be available to purchase this spring in the US. Pricing is not yet available.
