During the game, when Niners LB Dre Greenlaw and Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith got into an ugly fight, Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro came in between to stop. As per the viral video, Greenlaw could be seen punching DiSandro and arguing with him. Consequently, Greenlaw was ejected from Sunday’s game. Although the 26-year-old Niners linebacker received online backlashes from many, Skip Bayless decided to back his favorite San Francisco’s best defenders.
Greenlaw did NOT punch the security guy … who pushed him. No reason to eject one of SF’s best defenders. I didn’t even think Greenlaw’s takedown of DSmith was all that bad. I mean, he has to get him down.

Giving his opinion on the matter, Bayless took to Twitter and wrote, “Greenlaw did NOT punch the security guy … who pushed him.” He continued on Greenlaw’s early disqualification, saying, “No reason to eject one of SF’s best defenders. I didn’t even think Greenlaw’s takedown of DSmith was all that bad. I mean, he has to get him down.” However, this didn’t sit well with the football enthusiasts and many social media users, showed their anger at the commentator.

Dre Greenlaw tackled Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith at the end of a 13-yard gain to the Niners’ 24-yard line in the third quarter. The Birds’ sideline wanted a penalty for throwing the red flag, so they yelled at the officials, including Dom DiSandro, who handles security. Greenlaw then got in DiSandro’s face and poked him with his finger, making contact.
This led to Greenlaw getting kicked out of the game. On the other hand, DiSandro got ejected too, but the Eagles were fine with that. Philly fans even cheered for DiSandro as he left, and the Eagles scored soon after.
