Having shared the court with players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Kuzma developed a formidable bond with those players. But what the Thunder rookie did to his former teammate, Kuzma himself could not help but be stunned.

While playing the Lakers, the Oklahoma City Thunder rookie, Chet Holmgren, almost schooled Anthony Davis. This led to former Lakers player Kyle Kuzma to pay his ultimate respect to the seven-footer.

The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Los Angeles Lakers for their latest matchup. Fresh off a win against the Detroit Pistons, the Lakers looked to build on that in order to improve their overall team record.

However, Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren may have other plans. During the game, Holmgren matched up with former Defensive Player of the Year, Anthony Davis.

He received the ball in the post and proceeded to go to town on Davis. Holmgren entered the post to fade away with a half spin, putting Davis in the cycle and finishing his move with a fadeaway shot. 

Former Lakers player Kyle Kuzma was beyond impressed with Holmgren’s skills. He went on to X and tweeted, “Sheesh this dude coming for smoke  Respect.”
