One of our favorite things to do when we travel is to have a fire at sunset. We mainly travel in our converted sprinter van and have limited space. A huge benefit to the H. Bee fire system is its portability. It fits perfectly in our storage area and takes up minimal space without compromise. We didn’t have to make any adjustments to make room for the fire pit, the design allows it to break down so easily, and compact and we were able to squeeze it in with no problems.

The first time we set it up, we found it was so simple that we didn’t even need to look at the directions! It is so easy to install; we can have our fire up in a matter of minutes no matter where we are. This is a lifesaver at the end of a long day when no one wants the hassle of a complicated setup. The fire pit comes together by three pieces securely fastening to one another through slots in the end of the parts. They slide right into place and stay super secure the whole time. The vent in the bottom of the fire pit allows for excellent airflow underneath and through the fire, making starting the fire very easy. The sides are low and wide, making it accessible to build a fire. Also, you get maximum heat delivered over a broader range, versus a traditional deep fire pit that only your hands feel warm, and you have to stand over the fire with smoke in your face to feel the warmth. The pieces of the fire pit are made with high-quality steel. Although they are heavy, they feel high end and well built. No worries of the fire pit collapsing down or falling apart due to lightweight, poor construction.

We like the multi-use aspect of the fire pit. When we’re not on the road, we can set it up in our backyard when we are having a dinner party. It is big enough for several people to roast marshmallows and enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. It looks like it could be a backyard fixture. One could have it on their apartment balcony as it is low profile and doesn’t take up much space. We can also break it down, pack it into the van quickly, and efficiently and take it on our next adventure.

Other portable fire pit rings on the market are very bulky and do not allow airflow underneath the fire, making it challenging to keep the fire strong. Also, other firepit rings do not fit into our campervan because of their bulky design. They are hard to clean and remain sooty. We like this fire pit design because it breaks down into thin planks that we can easily wipe clean. We don’t have to worry about our mostly white van getting messy from the soot.

We love the modern design and the aesthetic is something really unique. It looks like it would fit well in a high-end modern mountain home. One could simply set it up in the backyard during a party, or leave it as a permanent fixture and it would look stylish. Overall, this firepit has a place in our lives at any stage. We can travel with it or place it in our backyard as a functional and decorative piece. We love to have fires at night as a cozy relaxing way to end the day.

Sitting around the campfire is a way to draw closer to others and create memories with friends. We have met some amazing people around a campfire. The design of this fire pit is always a conversation starter. People are curious about the modern, sleek design, as they haven’t seen others with the portable yet stylish touch. We are delighted to have the H. Bee fire pit as a permanent fixture inside our van. We look forward to years of use!
