Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were both at the Golden Globe Awards  as Pitt took home an award.

The A-listers, who were married from 2000 to 2005, were both nominated for Golden Globe Awards. The former "Friends" star was nominated in the best actress category for her work on “The Morning Show” and Pitt was nominated for best supporting actor for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."

On Sunday, the exes were spotted on the red carpet, though they arrived approximately 20 minutes apart, each selectively working the press line.

"I'll run into Jen; she's a good friend," Pitt told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. "The second most important reunion of her year."

Pitt said, ahead of his win on Sunday, he wasn't sure awards season was in the bag for his "Once Upon a Time" performance playing stuntman Cliff Booth.

“I don't know about that," he told reporters on the red carpet. "You know, it's a subjective thing. I just wish there were more awards so more things could get the attention it deserves. There’s always some great work that maybe gets found later."

The Pitt/Aniston attention didn't end on the red carpet.

As Pitt was telling a joke about his mom after his win for best supporting actor, the camera shot to Aniston, who was watching intently.

"I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn't because anyone I stand next to, they say I'm dating," he said. "So it'd just be awkward."

Pitt and Aniston's presence at the show piqued the interest of fans who have been holding out for a public reunion since … well, forever.

"Is it really sad that I've secretly been hoping for #JenniferAniston and #BradPitt to surprise us and announce their reconciliation romance by walking down the red carpet together tonight at the #GoldenGlobes," tweeted @KarenMaryBrown.

Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005. Aniston went on to marry Justin Theroux, from 2015 to 2017, and Pitt wed Angelina Jolie in 2014 after they met on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005. They were together until 2016.

In 2002, Pitt and Aniston memorably walked the Globes red carpet together while they were married. They have rarely crossed paths in public since their split.

However, in Feb. 2019, fans went wild when Pitt was reportedly spotted at Aniston's star-studded 50th birthday party. 

"It’s like a FRIENDs episode!! She’s with Ross, then not, then back again!!" wrote one fan on Twitter.
