Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson thought he hit a home run off Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg to lead off Game 5 of the National League Division Series.

As it turned out, the ball had gone through the fence at Dodger Stadium.

Pederson went the other way on a 1-1 fastball and the ball seemed to disappear as it came down against the wall. Nationals left fielder Juan Soto immediately through his arms up to signal for a dead ball, but not seeing the ball in the fence, Pederson's shot was initially ruled a home run.

Replay quickly showed that the ball hit netting in the middle of the bullpen door – and went through – so the call was overturned.

The next batter, Max Muncy, would proceed to a hit a two-run homer that very clearly got over the fence.
