The Pirate Bay is joining the streaming wars against Disney+ and Netflix with its own service, BayStream.
According to reports, BayStream is available on the infamous peer-to-peer sharing company’s website and arrives with a simple interface similar to YouTube‘s, allowing viewers to play or skip to any part of the episode or movie. A solid internet connection will stream the same quality as the torrent the viewer has selected.
Further testing has shown that the BayStream button will automatically appear when a torrent has 100 or more seeds, regardless of how long the torrent has been up on the site. Its availability remains limited, however, with some qualified torrents still missing the play button.
