Isaiah Wynn would be the New England Patriots’ lone absence on Thursday.

The starting left tackle, who’d missed his rookie season with a torn Achilles and eight games this fall with turf toe, was sidelined from practice due to an eye issue. Wynn has played every offensive snap since his activation from injured reserve in November. Last year’s No. 23 overall pick was not on New England’s injury report to begin the week.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman was.

After sitting out with knee and shoulder injuries on Wednesday, Edelman returned in a limited capacity for the Patriots.

Here’s an updated prognosis for Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

  • Patriots: OT Isaiah Wynn (eye)
  • Bengals: WR A.J. Green (ankle), DT Renell Wren (hip), DE Carlos Dunlap (rest)

Veteran swing tackle Marshall Newhouse started in place of Wynn during the Georgia product’s two-month stint on IR. Since then, Wynn’s only missed practice time had come in Week 13, when an illness saw him sit out twice before the Patriots traveled to NRG Stadium to face the Houston Texans.

Wren, dealing with a hip injury, went from limited to non-participation for the Cincinnati defensive line.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

  • Patriots: WR Julian Edelman (knee/shoulder), WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle), C Ted Karras (knee), DT Byron Cowart (concussion), DT Danny Shelton (shoulder), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee), CB Jason McCourty (groin)
  • Bengals: DE Sam Hubbard (knee)

Edelman stands with 90 catches for 1,010 yards and six touchdowns through 13 games. He’s stood as questionable to play in nine of them. A chest injury preceded the shoulder and knee injuries for New England’s 33-year-old wideout. But Edelman remained on the field for all but one offensive snap last Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a matchup both Karras and Cowart were ruled out for. The starting center and rookie defensive tackle had been non-participants throughout last week due to an MCL sprain and a concussion, respectively. Karras and Cowart joined the Patriots’ limited to open this week.

For the Bengals, Hubbard remains a partial practice participant. The defensive end out of Ohio State started Cincinnati’s first 12 games before a knee injury forced him to miss last Sunday’s divisional matchup with the Cleveland Browns.

FULL PARTICIPATION

  • Patriots: QB Tom Brady (right elbow), WR N’Keal Harry (hip)
  • Bengals: WR John Ross (foot), TE Tyler Eifert (rest), DT Geno Atkins (rest), CB Darqueze Dennard (rest)

Brady and Harry continued to practice fully for the Patriots, with the rookie target’s hip injury a new addition to the injury report on Wednesday.

The Bengals upgraded Ross to full participation on Thursday after the former first-round wideout began Week 15 preparations as limited. Ross, who returned from IR to play 36 downs last Sunday, is managing a foot injury. Eifert, Atkins and Dennard also were back in full for Cincinnati. Eifert had been limited for non-injury reasons on Wednesday, while Atkins and Dennard received rest days.
