The Ministry of Justice provides a range of justice services around New Zealand. We have more than 3000 people working across 120 locations around the country, all working towards our vision of a safe and just New Zealand.

The Products & Services Design team works to design a better Justice experience. We undertake strategic technology design, innovation design, and products & services design. The Enterprise Designer is the key design leader in these areas; ensuring that people are at the centre of our services.

We are current seeking an Enterprise Designers to join the Products & Services Design Team in the Ministry's Technology office. This is an influential leadership position in the team. Your experience, enthusiasm, initiative, ability to influence and deep understanding of design thinking will be critical to successful ICT delivery.

Your day to day work will be varied; but will centre around: leading the creation of a Digital Experience Strategy, championing and embedding the Enterprise Design framework; servant leadership in the Design practice and Digital Services to embed Design Thinking.

You will be based at the Ministry of Justice National Office in central Wellington. This is a full-time position. The salary range for the role is $143,260 to $202,250.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Substantial and demonstrable experience in enterprise design or service design;
• Experience leading initiatives to embed new ways of working in organisations; • Experience working in an ICT environment; collaborating with, consulting too, and influencing ICT delivery teams;
• A willingness to learn and to help others learn;
• The resilience to champion new ways of working;
• Be an influencer and a servant leader; and
• Be self-motivated, self-managing, and a self-starter.

Salary range:  $143,260 - $202,250
