I could only wish my home country, the United States, could attempt an objective, public news source with the depth, resources and range of the BBC.

This podcast is an excellent ‘deeper dive’ into daily headline stories, providing context and additional information that makes understanding the stories much easier.

I depend on this podcast to remind me there is a world of important events beyond the nectarine whack-a-mole show we are subjected to in the states. The topic determines the time needed so does vary. That is JUST FINE. Manipulating coverage to some make believe time frame is part of the problem with coverage in other venues.Excellent .

I listen to global news daily, often twice a day. It is useful to hear in depth news broadcasts which are not centered on the USA. Of course, it covers US news but its reach is worldwide, although Global News does cover the UK particularly well.
