Chinese woman guilty of trespassing at Trump's Mar-a-Lago faces prison
A Chinese woman convicted of trespassing at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort who was apprehended with a thumb drive infected with malware is expected to receive a prison sentence on Monday. Yujing Zhang could face up to six years for unlawfully entering the Palm Beach, Florida, club in March and lying to Secret Service agents who confronted her. Authorities did not charge Zhang with espionage, but her arrest prompted an investigation into potential intelligence vulnerabilities at the resort Trump has called his "Winter White House." Zhang has been jailed since federal agents arrested her after finding two passports, four cellphones and a laptop on her person in addition to the infected thumb drive.

Lottery tickets go on sale for the first time in Mississippi
Mississippi residents don’t have to leave the state to buy lottery tickets any more, as tickets go on sale Monday in roughly 1,200 convenience stores and other sites. For decades Mississippi was one of only six states without a lottery, amid strong opposition from politically powerful churches. But the state’s lack of funds for road maintenance changed that and in 2018, lawmakers authorized a lottery as the state was forced to close hundreds of unsafe bridges. The first $80 million a year from lottery revenue will go to highways, then the rest to education. Democratic state Rep. Alyce Clarke of Jackson, who advocated for a lottery for years, will buy the ceremonial first ticket Monday morning at a convenience store in south Jackson.

'Frozen 2' breaking records on opening weekend

It's the highest-grossing weekend ever for any animated film globally. It marks a new high in North America for an animated movie released outside of the summer season. And it's the largest opening for any Walt Disney Animation Studios release. Reviews and audience reaction have been good, but not as strong as they were for the original.
