Ohio State's 28-17 win against Penn State keeps the Buckeyes at No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports NCAA Re-Rank 1-130, while Oregon plummets to No. 14 and out of the College Football Playoff race after losing at Arizona State.

Oregon has now fallen behind four other two-loss teams from the Power Five in No. 10 Penn State, No. 11 Florida, No. 12 Wisconsin and No. 13 Michigan. But another Pac-12 team surged into the top 10: Utah is up five spots to No. 6, one spot ahead of Minnesota and two in front of Oklahoma, after an easy win against Arizona.

Oregon saw the only major movement inside the Top 25. Beyond that, however, teams such as Hawaii, Tennessee and Arizona State leaped up the 1-130 after solid wins.

Hawaii is up 19 to No. 36 after beating San Diego State to clinch a spot in the Mountain West championship game. Tennessee surges to No. 39 after securing bowl eligibility with a win at Missouri, the Volunteers' fourth win in a row. The Sun Devils reversed a four-game losing streak and jumpe 13 spots to No. 45.

And on the flip side, no team fell as sharply as Miami (Fla.), which is down 25 to No. 65 after suffering a 30-24 loss to Florida International that ranks among the worst moments in program history. Two weeks ago, Louisiana Tech was 8-1 and No. 25; two games later, the Bulldogs are 8-3 and No. 53.
