(Newser) – The band Kiss has no doubt played its share of unusual shows over the years, but an upcoming concert in Australia will surely make the short list of the strangest. On Nov. 18, the group will play on a boat off the coast of Australia—and the music will be pumped below the water via special speakers for the entertainment of eight fans in a viewing submarine as well as any sharks that might be cruising by, reports Fox News. The area is known for great whites.

“I was a little taken aback by it, but they explained that sharks are attracted to low frequencies and so they’re attracted to rock and roll,” singer and guitarist Paul Stanley tells the AP. The show is a publicity event through Airbnb, and those hoping to score one of the eight $52 tickets can go here to check out the details. The tickets go on sale at 6pm EDT Oct. 14, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. (Read more KISS stories.)
