The Ohio State football team was challenged deep into the game for the first time this season but come out with a 28-17 victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions.
With that win the Ohio State football team remains on top of the Week 14 Big Ten football power rankings. Here are my top four teams this week.
Ohio State
I said it in my prediction, the only way Penn State makes it a close game is through turnovers. Despite the turnovers and final score, the Buckeyes dominated for three-quarters and were not really in any serious danger.
I am convinced that Ryan Day purposefully executed a run-first game plan to test his team’s toughness. He knows he can win through the air. Now he knows his offense can grind out a physical game too.
Now it is all about beating Michigan.
Forget the winning streak and blowout last year. Ohio State is about to get the fight it needs to prove its national championship worthy. All the pressure is on the Buckeyes. That’s just the way it should be.
The Buckeyes have proved they are the cream of the crop through Week 13. Now let’s look at the other three teams in this week’s power rankings.
