With all the chaos in the last 48 hours, it’s easy to forget that Tottenham Hotspur have a very important match this weekend. Spurs head to London rivals West Ham on Saturday for the early kick-off, and the club released injury news ahead of what will be Jose Mourinho’s first match in charge of the club.
The bad news is that Erik Lamela continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained in training a few weeks ago, and now Spurs are without two of their top three keepers as newly re-signed Michel Vorm has injured his calf and is out until December. Neat!
Tanguy Ndombele was inexplicably called up to France’s national team over the international break despite sustaining what looked like a groin injury in Pochettino’s last match in charge against Sheffield United, and he’s questionable for this weekend along with Jan Vertonghen.
We’ll get into the predicted lineup a little later today, but this gives you a pretty good idea of the players who Mourinho will get to choose from against West Ham.
