Larsa Pippen has opened up about that “embarrassing” video of Michael Jordan disapproving of her relationship with his son, Marcus Jordan.

On Wednesday night’s (Feb. 14) episode of The Real Housewives of Miami, the reality star — who is 16 years older than Marcus — was confronted by Adriana de Moura and Kiki Barth after the former NBA player told paparazzi loud and clear that he does not approve of their relationship.

“He was laughing and he was like ‘No,'” Pippen said, referencing the Daily Mail video. “He was laughing.”

According to Pippen, she hadn’t seen Michael — who used to play on the same NBA team as her ex, Scottie Pippen — since she started dating his son. Still, she insisted that everything between them was just fine.

“I’m not hurt by it because like I said behind closed doors everyone is fine,” she told her co-stars. “I think it was a shock at first when people saw us together. My side, his side. And then they know that we’re happy with each other, and that’s what you want. You want your kids and your family to be happy.”

Meanwhile, de Moura said, “Sometimes Larsa reminds me of a little kid that puts a bag over their head and thinks nobody sees them.” In response to Pippen previously claiming everything between her and Michael is “cool” and “fine,” Julia Lemigova added, “I don’t know if she’s lying to herself or she’s lying to us.”

Despite maintaining a strong face in front of her friends, Pippen seemed to break down her walls a little bit more in her confessional.

“This is really embarrassing to me,” she told the cameras. “I think if anyone should talk about Michael it should be his son, not me. And honestly, I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m on trial with my friends.”

While RHOM Season 6 was filmed during the peak of Pippen and Marcus’ relationship, things seemed to have taken a turn for the worse in recent weeks. The duo have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, where Pippen has also posted cryptic messages referring to an “ex,” leading fans to believe they called it quits.

The Real Housewives of Miami airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
