For the crimefighter who likes to look good while saving the day, a few new outfits are now available in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Eight new suits have been added as part of a free update, including four legacy suits from previous games and four new costumes designed in collaboration with Kid Super, Rina Sawayama, Vini Jr., and Lando Norris. This brings the number of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 costumes up to 89 unique looks so far.
The more recognizable outfits include the Last Stand and Into the Spider-Verse suits for Peter Parker. For his Spider-Verse costume, you can enable the Film Style Animation mode via visual settings to make Spidey look even more like Peter B. Parker. Miles Morales can wear the Uptown Pride and Animated suits, and each one can be changed up with additional colors.
For the fresh threads, Peter's Fluro gear is inspired by racing, has carbon-fiber textures, and even includes a helmet. The Motorchic suit makes Spidey look like a biker, as it wraps him up in a leather jacket, studs, and heavy-duty boots. Miles has a unique selection with his Metro suit--the puffer jacket even has web-like stitching--and the Ginga suit is described as a love letter to Brazil and soccer, which is the number one sport in that nation.
In other Spider-Man news, the Spider-Verse is growing with several new projects. Nicolas Cage will reprise his Into the Spider-Verse role for Noir, a new live-action series based on Spider-Man Noir, and the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live in Concert tour is coming to the US soon. There's also a third Venom movie out in October, Venom: The Last Dance, starring the slimy symbiote and Tom Hardy.
