The FPL Gameweek 14 captaincy decision is a big one this week, with home comforts for some of our go-to favourites.
League leaders Arsenal entertain Wolves, while Manchester City host Spurs and Liverpool face Fulham at Anfield.
We've picked out the top captaincy candidates in conjunction with Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Prediction tool to show their predicted points for FPL Gameweek 14.
Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland punished those managers who went against him for captaincy last weekend, taking his opportunity to score against Liverpool in the early kick-off. Man City meet Spurs at the Etihad this time around, with Haaland back on top for predicted points.
The Norwegian comes into this game in great form, with five goals and two assists in the last four gameweeks, and leads the way for big chances on goal in this time with ten. Spurs will still be missing key personnel in this one, including defender Cristian Romero through suspension.
Mohamed Salah
For those who fancy an easier fixture on paper for their captain this weekend, picking Mohamed Salah against Fulham looks to be the smart play. Salah has the pedigree in this fixture, scoring against the Cottagers home and away last season for double-digit hauls.
Add into the mix Salah's form at Anfield this season, where he has scored in every single game, and it makes for a compelling case to go with the Egyptian for the armband. Spot-kicks have also been a key source of additional fantasy points for him in this campaign.
Darwin Nunez
Sticking with the Liverpool fixture and Darwin Nunez presents a differential captaincy option. Fulham are struggling for form right now, failing to keep a clean sheet in their last seven games. Meanwhile Darwin has started all of the last four, with one goal and two assists.
Early substitutions can be a risk when backing Nunez but the AI predicts him to play 87 minutes in this fixture and he may be helped by the long-term injury suffered by Diogo Jota. He is top for shots on target in the last four gameweeks with ten.
